OUR STORY

How we got here.

I

The ring.

Like most stories about jewelry, ours starts with a love story.

A few years ago, I was getting engaged. In Germany, where I'm from, we don't have the American tradition of spending months of salary on a ring. I had a budget — a meaningful one, but a German one.

So I walked into a jewelry store with that budget, expecting to find something beautiful.

What they showed me was a diamond so small it barely deserved the name. I immediately knew — this wasn't how my proposal was going to go down. There was no way I'd show up to the person I loved with a ring that small.

I walked back out.

II

Six months.

I'm a serial entrepreneur. Industries that hide how they work have always been a kind of personal hobby — figure them out, and you usually find a better way through.

So I gave myself half a year.

I went from total novice to fluent in the language of jewelry — materials, certification, design, supply chains. I spoke to wholesale suppliers in Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, and Asia. I learned the difference between various purities, polishes, and between cut, color, clarity, and carat.

And the more I learned, the more one thing became impossible to ignore:

Jewelry stores aren't really selling stones and gold. They're selling markup — and on every material decision in the catalog, they're upselling you on choices that you don't even see with your own eyes.

III

What I made.

Eventually I stopped researching and started buying.

A certified lab-grown diamond from a Belgian wholesaler — selected after watching close-up 3D videos of hundreds of stones until I found the one that looked perfect in every imaginable way.

A 14K white gold band from a master goldsmith in the Far East, vetted through my existing supplier network from other industries.

When everything arrived, I brought it to the best local jeweler in my hometown to be assembled — and to confirm, independently, that everything was exactly what I'd been told.

He held the diamond up to his loupe for a long time. Then he set it down and looked at me.

This is the best lab diamond I've ever seen.

The ring that came together that afternoon would have cost five times more in a store window. And I couldn't stop thinking about that.

IV

Word travelled.

From that one ring, word travelled fast.

First, friends and family approached me to had their own pieces made. Then came their friends. Then friends of friends of friends. Each piece a unique design, a different material configuration — yellow gold, white gold, platinum; diamonds, sapphires, emeralds; rings, necklaces, ear rings. Before I knew it, I was suddenly a vendor of fine jewelry.

And every single one came back beautiful.

By the time we'd made dozens of pieces, the same question was getting harder to avoid: if this works for the people I love, why shouldn't it work for anyone who wants it?

V

A brand was formed.

So I called Konstantin.

Konstantin Kaiser is my childhood friend, a fellow serial entrepreneur, and — for the record — the best man at my wedding. We've trusted each other with serious things for most of our lives.

We built WunderJewelry together. The mission is straightforward: make fine jewelry accessible at prices that reflect what the materials and craftsmanship actually cost.

Not what an industry has decided it can charge you, but what the work is genuinely worth.

Our Name

Wunder

(n., German): wonder. Marvel. Miracle.

The kind of moment something extraordinary creates the first time you encounter it.

That's also our name. And the standard we hold ourselves to — every piece, every customer, every time.

Simon Moser

Co-FOUNDER

Simon's background is in communications and media. He also runs an Apple refurbishment business and a handful of tech retail stores — work that introduced him, over the years, to what high-end Asian manufacturing actually looks like up close. That experience is what made WunderJewelry possible.

Konstantin Kaiser

CO-FOUNDER

Konstantin's professional life is in finance and data science. He's also a published health author and a lifetime natural bodybuilder — someone who's spent his life telling the difference between substance and marketing. He brings that same rigor to everything WunderJewelry does.

ON OUR PRICES

Where the savings come from.

Our prices are significantly lower than traditional jewelers — often a fraction of what the same piece would cost in a store window. Same materials, same craftsmanship. The difference is the business model behind them.

OUR TAKE

Lower prices aren't a sign of cheaper materials or worse craftsmanship — they're a sign of less waste between you and what you're paying for. Since we exclusively create custom jewelry pieces, we don't need to invest millions into inventory, security, storage, and insurance. We simply charge less because we cost less to run. That's the whole secret.

Our Atelier

Where The Magic Happens

From the very first piece, we've been woorking with the same master goldsmith atelier. Every piece we've ever made has been crafted there. Every single one has come back exactly as specified.

After reviewing jewelry ateliers across Europe and Asia, we found our ideal partner in China. The perception of Chinese manufacturing as cheap and low-quality is decades out of date — based on memories of mass-market goods, not on the reality of premium ateliers today. China is home to some of the finest jewelry craftsmanship in the world: goldsmiths trained, equipped, and held to the same standards as their European counterparts.

Our extensive experience working with premium suppliers across the Far East — and more than two years of close collaboration with this specific atelier — gave us the confidence to bring this service to a wider audience. It offers the rare combination we couldn't find anywhere else: quality, flexibility, and affordability.

OUR GUARANTEE

How we make sure every piece is right.

We don't offer a vague multi-year warranty — those are largely unenforceable anyway. We do something better: we show you exactly what you're getting, in detail, twice, before it reaches you.

I

3D render approval.

Once we've agreed on materials and design, we send you a detailed 3D render of the finished piece. You see exactly what's going to be made — proportions, stone settings, surface finish down to the milimeter — before any metal is cut. You can then approve it, or request changes.

II

Finished-piece video.

Once manufacturing is complete, we send you one or two high-resolution videos showing around the finished piece in detail. You verify exactly what you're about to receive. If you'd like to see it from a different angle - let us know. If there's anything that doesn't look as expected, request changes.

III

Deposit & delivery.

If either approval check reveals work that doesn't match what was agreed and our atelier can't make it right, we offer a full refund of your deposit — a provision that, across every piece we've ever made, has never had to be used. Once you've approved the finished piece, it ships straight to you.
