Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
These are the terms that apply when you use our website and when you commission a piece from us. We've kept the legalese to what's actually necessary and written the rest plainly. Please read them carefully before placing an order — by doing so, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
01 · About us and acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WunderJewelry website (wunderjewelry.com) and any purchase of products from us. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
WunderJewelry ("WunderJewelry", "we", "us", or "our") is a custom jewelry atelier operating from Cyprus.
Postal: EVOLUTE LIMITED Σουλίου, 14, Flat/Office 101 Αγλαντζιά 2102, Λευκωσία, Cyprus
These Terms apply to consumers (individuals purchasing for personal use) as well as to business purchasers. Where consumer protection provisions of EU or Cyprus law grant additional rights, those rights apply in addition to these Terms, regardless of anything stated here.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or place an order.
02 · Use of the website
You may use our website for personal, lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the website in any way that violates applicable law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website, our systems, or another user's data.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to collect content from the website without our prior written consent.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the website.
- Use the website to transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful content.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
All content on our website — including images, designs, photography, text, logos, and brand elements — is owned by WunderJewelry or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and personally use the website, but you may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our website for any user who violates these Terms.
03 · The ordering process
Our ordering process is as follows:
- Quote request. You contact us with details of the piece you would like — including a reference image (or sketch, or description), preferred materials (metal, stone), sizing, and any other specifications.
- Quote. We review your request and respond, typically within 48 hours, with a quote stating the price, material options, and an estimated production timeline. Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
- Order confirmation. If you accept the quote, you confirm the order by paying a deposit. Until the deposit is received, no contract is formed and we have no obligation to begin work.
- 3D render. Once we receive your deposit, we produce a detailed 3D render of the proposed piece and send it to you for approval. You may request changes to the design before approval. Manufacturing does not begin until the render is approved.
- Manufacturing. After 3D render approval, the piece is manufactured at our master goldsmith atelier in China. Manufacturing typically takes around three weeks.
- Finished-piece video. When manufacturing is complete, we send you a high-resolution video of the finished piece for final approval. If the finished piece does not match what was agreed at the 3D render stage, you may request remediation — see Section 6 (Quality assurance, approval, and cancellation).
- Balance and shipping. Once you have approved the finished piece, you pay the balance of the order. The piece is then shipped to you, fully insured, by international express courier (FedEx or DHL).
A binding contract is formed at the point we receive your deposit and confirm acceptance of your order.
Information on our website, including any images, prices, and descriptions, is an invitation to treat — not a binding offer. We may decline to accept any order at our discretion, in which case any deposit paid will be refunded in full.
04 · Pricing and payment
Currency
All prices on our website and in quotes are quoted in U.S. dollars (USD) by default. On request, we can quote and bill European customers in euros (EUR). The currency used for your order is fixed at the time of order confirmation.
If your card or bank account uses a different currency, conversion is made by your card issuer or bank at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of payment. WunderJewelry is not responsible for currency conversion fees imposed by your bank.
Price validity
Prices are subject to change. Once you have received a quote, the quoted price is typically held for 3-5 days. The exact validity will be shared at the time you receive the quote. If you confirm your order within this period, the quoted price applies even if our standard prices change in the meantime.
Taxes
Quotes include any Cyprus VAT applicable where required by law. Other applicable taxes, duties, and fees (such as import duties in your country of delivery) are your responsibility — see Section 7 (Customs, duties, and taxes).
Payment methods
We accept:
- Mastercard, Visa, and bank wire transfer — no additional charge.
- PayPal — available with a small surcharge to cover transaction fees, disclosed before payment.
All card and bank payments are processed securely by our payment processor (Stripe, via WooPayments). We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
Deposit and balance
A deposit (typically 50% of the total order value, or as specified in your quote) is due at the time of order confirmation. The balance is due after you have approved the finished-piece video and before the piece ships.
We will not begin manufacturing until the deposit has been received and the 3D render has been approved. We will not dispatch the piece until the balance has been paid.
05 · Manufacturing and delivery
Manufacturing
All WunderJewelry pieces are manufactured at our master goldsmith atelier. Each piece is made to your specifications and not drawn from existing inventory.
Timeline
The total time from quote acceptance to delivery is typically about one month: a few days for the 3D render, around three weeks for manufacturing, and 4 to 7 days for insured shipping. These are estimates and may vary depending on the complexity of the piece, materials supply, courier performance, and customs processing.
We will keep you informed if any unforeseen delay arises.
Shipping
Pieces are shipped by international express courier (FedEx or DHL), fully insured during transit, with tracking provided. We ship worldwide.
Delivery and risk
Risk of loss or damage passes to you at the point of delivery to the address specified on your order. For consumer purchases, this is consistent with the consumer protection provisions of EU and Cyprus law.
It is your responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address and to ensure that someone is available to receive the package or that the courier's instructions are followed. We are not responsible for failed deliveries, package theft after successful delivery, or returns to sender resulting from incorrect address details or your unavailability.
Damage in transit
Although our pieces are packaged carefully and shipping is fully insured, in the rare event that a piece arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt, providing photographs of the damage and the packaging. We will arrange for replacement and handle the insurance claim.
06 · Quality assurance, approval, and cancellation
Two-stage approval
Our quality assurance process consists of two approval stages:
- 3D render approval. Before manufacturing begins, we send you a detailed 3D render of the proposed piece. You may request any changes — to design, proportions, stone settings, or any other element. We will iterate until the render is approved.
- Finished-piece video approval. When manufacturing is complete, we send you a high-resolution video of the finished piece. If the finished piece does not match the design approved at the 3D render stage, you may request remediation.
You must approve each stage in writing (by email or other agreed communication) before we proceed to the next stage.
Mismatch at the finished-piece stage
If the finished piece does not match the design approved at the 3D render stage, we will work with the atelier to remediate the issue. If remediation is not possible within a reasonable time, your deposit will be refunded in full.
No general right to cancel for custom-made goods
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU, as transposed into Cyprus law), consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. However, this right does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized (Article 16(c) of the Directive).
All WunderJewelry pieces are made specifically to your specifications and are therefore exempt from the 14-day withdrawal right. This does not affect your statutory rights regarding goods that do not conform to the contract — see Section 9 (Statutory rights and warranties).
When you may cancel
You may cancel an order:
- Before deposit confirmation — at any time, with no fee.
- After deposit but before 3D render approval — by notifying us in writing. We will refund your deposit minus any work already performed at that stage.
- After 3D render approval — cancellation is no longer possible, except where we fail to deliver a piece matching the approved render (see "Mismatch at the finished-piece stage" above).
Refunds
Where a refund is owed (in the limited cases above, or where required by law), it will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days of the cancellation or refund agreement.
07 · Customs, duties, and taxes
For deliveries outside Cyprus and the European Union, import duties, VAT, or other taxes may apply depending on the destination country's customs regulations. Typical duties for a single jewelry piece are between USD 10 and USD 30, although the exact amount depends on the destination.
Import duties and taxes are NOT included in our quoted prices and are your responsibility. The shipping courier (FedEx or DHL) will contact you directly with payment instructions before delivery, where duties are owed.
For deliveries within the European Union, prices include VAT where applicable. No additional import duties apply within the EU customs union.
WunderJewelry is not responsible for customs delays. If you refuse delivery to avoid paying import duties, the piece may be returned to us, and any costs of return (including return shipping and customs charges) may be deducted from any refund issued. Because pieces are made to your specifications, refunds in such circumstances are at our discretion.
08 · Intellectual property and reference materials
Our intellectual property
All elements of our website, brand, and original designs — including but not limited to text, photography, design templates, logos, trademarks, and original 3D renders we produce — are owned by WunderJewelry or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the website for the purpose of viewing our products and placing orders. No other rights are granted to you in our intellectual property.
Reference materials you provide
When you provide us with reference images, sketches, or descriptions for the purpose of creating your custom piece, you represent and warrant that:
- You have the right to use, share, and reproduce the reference materials for the purpose of having a custom jewelry piece made.
- The reference materials do not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party.
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the reference materials solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order — including communicating with our manufacturing atelier and producing the 3D render.
Original craftsmanship; no counterfeiting
We do not manufacture exact replicas of branded designer pieces bearing their original brand name, markings, or logos, nor do we engage in counterfeiting. When you supply a reference for a custom piece, our craftspeople produce an original piece inspired by and adapted from the reference to your specifications. We reserve the right to decline any request that, in our reasonable judgment, would amount to counterfeiting or infringe third-party intellectual property.
Photography of finished pieces
We may, with your separate consent, use photographs of finished pieces (without personally identifying information about you) for our portfolio, marketing, and social media. We will ask for this consent separately at the time of delivery and will not publish identifying information without your permission.
09 · Statutory rights and warranties
Statutory rights
As a consumer purchasing from a Cyprus-registered business, you benefit from the statutory rights provided by Cyprus and EU consumer protection law, including:
- The right to receive goods that conform to the contract, are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
- The right, for a period of two years from delivery, to remedies (repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund) if the goods do not conform to the contract at the time of delivery, subject to the conditions of Cyprus Law 134(I)/2021 (transposing EU Directive 2019/771 on the sale of goods).
These statutory rights apply alongside, and in addition to, anything stated in these Terms. Nothing in these Terms restricts or excludes any statutory right that cannot lawfully be restricted or excluded.
No additional commercial warranty
We do not offer a commercial warranty beyond your statutory rights. Specifically, we do not provide a multi-year warranty against normal wear, accidental damage, or loss after delivery. Repairs, resizing, and other after-care needs are your responsibility — we are happy to recommend local jewelers if helpful.
Our quality commitment
Our two-stage quality assurance process (3D render approval and finished-piece video approval — see Section 6) is the primary way we ensure that each piece meets the agreed specification before it reaches you.
How to make a claim
If you believe a piece does not conform to the contract, please contact us at hello@wunderjewelry.com within a reasonable time after discovering the issue. We will assess the claim in good faith and, where the claim is valid, provide a remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.
10 · Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including consumer protection rights).
Subject to the above:
- Our total liability to you in respect of any order or these Terms is limited to the total price paid by you for the relevant order.
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses; loss of profits; loss of business opportunity; or loss of goodwill, in each case howsoever caused.
This Section applies to liabilities arising in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise.
For consumer purchasers, certain limitations of liability may not be enforceable under applicable consumer protection law. Where this is the case, those limitations do not apply to you, and your statutory rights are unaffected.
11 · Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay is caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government action, public health emergencies, supply chain disruptions, strikes affecting third-party logistics providers, or the failure of telecommunications networks.
If a force majeure event continues for more than 60 days and prevents us from fulfilling an order, either party may cancel the affected order in writing. In such cases, any deposit paid will be refunded in full.
12 · Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy. By using the website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read and understood both policies.
13 · Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms and any contract formed under them are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
Where you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, the protection afforded by the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remains available to you, in addition to the protections under Cyprus law.
Dispute resolution — first contact
Most issues can be resolved by contacting us directly at hello@wunderjewelry.com. Please give us the opportunity to resolve any concern before pursuing formal dispute resolution.
EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform
As an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform to resolve disputes arising from online purchases: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
Courts
Subject to the above, the courts of the Republic of Cyprus have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms. Where you are a consumer resident in another country, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection rules.
14 · General provisions
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email (where you have an active order or have provided your email) or by a prominent notice on the website. Changes take effect from the date of publication and apply to orders placed thereafter; orders placed before the change remain governed by the version of the Terms in force at the time of order confirmation.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held by a competent authority to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
No waiver
Failure or delay on our part to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of any right.
Entire agreement
These Terms, together with any quote we have provided and confirmed, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between us regarding the relevant order. They supersede any prior agreements, communications, or representations regarding the subject matter.
Assignment
You may not transfer or assign any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may transfer or assign our rights or obligations to a successor in business or affiliate, provided this does not adversely affect your rights.
